Building systems technology in very general terms comprises electrical and electronic equipment and automation devices for industrial, commercial and private buildings. These equipment and devices range from bell transformers to the Dupline bus system. Dupline is a centrally controlled two-wire bus system for building automation. It stands out from other similar products in particular because of its easy project design, configuration and commissioning. Thanks to robust data transmission, any topologies can be used, even spur cables, and the cable length can be up to 10 km. The DKG central devices generate the bus signal, supply power to decentralised components and provide space for up to 128 predefined functions. As up to 32 DKG devices can be networked, larger applications can also be realised. Thanks to the wide range of actuators and sensors, a number of automation solutions, such as lighting and blind control, detection of measured values or temperature control, can be implemented within these applications. The open, integrated Modbus interface also offers a wide range of display options using touch panels or PCs. Additional interface components allow the use of wireless bus and DALI components as well as smartphones and tablets (iPad, iPhone). Remote controls are handheld transmitter/receiver devices for the operation of the system.
